Growing up, my dad always said I was “two going on twenty,” too grown up for my own good.
In High School, my favorite song was “I’m in a Hurry,” by Alabama, until it hit me that I was in such a hurry to get on with life, that I was missing it. Whoa! I decided to slow down, and enjoy things; so, instead of completing High School, I got a Good Enough Diploma, and went to college. There, I met my husband, and we were married the day after graduating. Ten years plus five boys later, we are still deeply in love, and it gets better with each day.
Life is good.
I am a Born Again Believer. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior. I believe the Bible to be God’s written word. I believe God’s Word to be perfect, holy and powerful. “…And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” -Genesis 1:2b&3 I strive to live my life according to the Word of God. I choose to believe the Word of God over my feelings and emotions.
My husband is the head of our household, and I am grateful for his leadership.
The family was the first unit of society God created. He made marriage to be a holy union between one man and one woman, with children the fruit of that union. He commands parents to “train up” their children “in the way they should go.” Strong families are the basis of a strong society.
